The first app in the giveaway is Kids Stories in English: Little Red Riding Hood (U.S. English version), by Cambridge English Online.
I have FIVE copies of this app which, if you don’t win, you can buy for only $1.99.
This iPad app has been developed based on research results that indicate children’s understanding of the meaning of words and stories measurably increases when they see a storyteller’s face. The app therefore contains a storytelling videoin addition to an illustrated story which can be either read or listened to, flash cards, a word quiz and over 20 teaching tips – activities and ideas for teachers, parents and childcare providers. This app is ideally suited to children aged 3 to 6.

Tot Yoga by Holt Smith Kids is an app I bought for Oliver so he can learn not only yoga but also breathing exercises. I want to teach him different ways of self-regulating and so I’m interested to see if he likes this. It certainly looks appealing – with animated animals, trees, and the sun all teaching 13 yoga poses. I have three codes to giveaway so if you like the sound of this app then please enter via Rafflecopter here: a Rafflecopter giveaway Three more apps to add and then that’s it for the Fabulous Fall Giveaway – I hope you’ve enjoyed it and a huge thank you to all the developers who have donated codes. I’ve got codes for two apps from Kiwa Media:
I’ve got TWO codes for Off We Go – Going on a Plane, worth $3.99 each. This book app is designed to help children prepare for a plane flight. Like other Off We Go! books, it breaks down a plane journey down into 12 steps and shows your child what will happen as well as introducing them to sounds they may hear during the journey. This book would be awesome to use with autistic and other special needs children, pre-school kids, children learning to read and children learning English or Spanish as a second language (the book is in both languages). Enter the rafflecopter for this app here: a Rafflecopter giveaway
I’ve also got two codes for this lovely Milly Molly book app – this series of books were written to promote the acceptance of diversity and difference and the learning of life skills. In this book, which demonstrates and encourages the building of self-esteem in others, the two girls befriend a family of guinea pigs but one of them, Betelgeuse, doesn’t know the story behind its name. These apps are worth $2.99 each and you can enter the rafflecopter for them here: a Rafflecopter giveaway
Speaking of diversity, I have three codes for The Magnificent Travelling Palace, a book about some young children in India who find out about – and chase after – a sumptous train that is, as the app’s title suggests, a magnificent travelling palace. It costs $2.99 to buy but if you want to try and win a code, enter the rafflecopter here: a Rafflecopter giveaway
