I’ve tried more than one different type of children’s label, you know, the things you put on their clothes, shoes and all their other stuff to prevent it from getting lost. This was the first time I had tried Lovable Labels and I have to say, they live up to their name, I’m in love! If you’re a resident of either the U.S. or Canada then you may get to try them too, for free, as I have a package of them to giveaway – read on for details.
I received a Holly Jolly Gift Pack for free to review and you can see what’s included below. The only thing I haven’t been able to report on is long-term wear and tear as I’ve only had them a few weeks but so far they are holding up well in terms of washing machine and dishwasher survival.
I have some pictures for you from when the labels first arrived. The first thing I loved is that they come in a booklet. No loose sheets of labels that are easy to lose. Yes, the irony, of losing label sheets…
The first page of labels are the all-purpose ones that you can stick on all their stuff that leaves the house – lunch boxes, books, binders, iPads, water bottles and so on. Microwave and dishwasher safe, waterproof and UV resistant – 15 of them in this pack.
Next page is 40 slimline stickers, as you can see, I was a little impatient to use these. Great for use on small spaces, I’ve put these on the boys’ cutlery that they take to school but also handy for pens, styluses as well as clothing.
The next set are specifically for use in shoes and are made with a “perma-grip” backing and have a clear protective coating. Given that the boys have boots, runners and regular indoor shoes, these got used up pretty quickly. These would be invaluable for sporting types who have skates, soccer shoes and more. 12 included in this pack.
The last sheet of stickers contains 24 Press n’ Stick Clothing DOTS, great for those larger pieces of clothing like coats and sweaters. Washer, dryer and bleach safe. No ironing required which is awesome as I’m not entirely sure where my iron is…
Last, but by no means least, I got two Mini-Metal Tags which I’ve used on the boys’ backpacks. Here’s a photo of the tag on Oliver’s backpack after 3 weeks of daily use:
All of this for $24.99 which works out to about 27 cents per item. In contrast, the cost of each item in a variety pack from the label company I have previously used most often is 46 cents. So, great product and great value – it’s a no-brainer that I will be buying these in the future.
If you’re a resident of either Canada or the U.S., you can enter via the rafflecopter to win one of these awesome label packs:
I received one Lovable Labels gift pack, as mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
