Always wanted to learn how to crochet? Or do you know how to but it’s been so long since you’ve picked up your hook that you’ve forgotten? Then this is the class for you! In this three hour session you’ll learn how to chain stitch, single and double crochet, finish off, and read a crochet pattern (written and charted). We’ll also get you started on your first project (a single crochet or granny square) before the end of class. We supply you with yarn and a hook which you can take home and keep practicing what you’ve learned in class!
Materials Included: One skein of Cascade 220 SW Merino, 5mm crochet hook

In this three session workshop, you'll be making a scarf, by exploring a wide variety of techniques for making crochet squares. This workshop is ideal for those who already know crochet basics, and want to expand their skills to be able to make more interesting projects.
In the first and second sessions, we'll be learning all the techniques for making squares, and in the third session, we'll work on blocking assembling and finishing your scarf project. All three sessions are spaced out evenly, giving you time to complete the number of squares needed for making the scarf.
Experience Required: You must be familiar with crochet basics: crocheting a foundation chain and single crochet.
Materials NOT Included: Recommended yarns: 3 skeins of worsted weight yarn, approx 200 meters each, such as Cascade 220 or Cascade 220 Superwash Merino.
Materials Required: 6mm hook, 3 skeins of worsted weight yarn, approx. 200m each.

Crochet Socks! You've been wondering, is it possible?! Join me for this two session class where you'll learn to follow a pattern, count stitches, extended single crochet stitch, post stitches, increases, afterthought heel and working both sides of a foundation chain and seamless crochet in the round.
Materials Included: 3.25mm Chiaogoo crochet hook, Fingering weight yarn.
Yarn Options: Lang Twin Soxx, Lang Supersoxx, or Jawoll Color Superwash, Jawoll Superwash (x2), Estelle Alpaca Merino Fine, Cascade Heritage Wave.
Class Requirements: Student must know and be comfortable making the following: crochet foundation chain, single and double crochet. As well, the student must be very comfortable with crocheting into a foundation chain using a finer weight yarn; this means confidence in knowing where your hook is meant to go to create stitches.
