Crochet Socks! You've been wondering, is it possible?! Join me for this two session class where you'll learn to follow a pattern, count stitches, extended single crochet stitch, post stitches, increases, afterthought heel and working both sides of a foundation chain and seamless crochet in the round.
Materials Included: 3.25mm Chiaogoo crochet hook, Fingering weight yarn.
Yarn Options: Lang Twin Soxx, Lang Supersoxx, or Jawoll Color Superwash, Jawoll Superwash (x2), Estelle Alpaca Merino Fine, Cascade Heritage Wave.
Class Requirements: Student must know and be comfortable making the following: crochet foundation chain, single and double crochet. As well, the student must be very comfortable with crocheting into a foundation chain using a finer weight yarn; this means confidence in knowing where your hook is meant to go to create stitches. Please consider taking our Beginner Crochet class or book a Private Crochet Lesson before jumping into socks.
Click here to register for the next class on October 26th, 2019 from 1pm to 4pm.
Always wanted to learn how to crochet? Or do you know how to but it’s been so long since you’ve picked up your hook that you’ve forgotten? Then this is the class for you! In this three hour session you’ll learn how to chain stitch, single and double crochet, finish off, and read a crochet pattern (written and charted). We’ll also get you started on your first project (a granny square or headband) before the end of class. We supply you with yarn and a hook which you can take home and keep practicing what you’ve learned in class!
Materials Included: One skein of Cascade 220 and a Knitter's Pride 5mm crochet hook.
