Classic baby blanket crochet pattern: Day 13 of the Relax and Hook Blog Hop

Classic baby blanket crochet pattern: Day 13 of the Relax and Hook blog hop features The Double Waffle Baby Blanket. The waffle stitch is a classic stitch to use for a baby blanket because it makes such cosy, squishy and comforting fabric. This lovely pattern puts a little twist on a classic, by using a double waffle stitch.

The Double Waffle Baby Blanket

Today's featured FREE pattern is for The Double Waffle Baby Blanket from My Crochet Space. The pattern uses double crochet and front post double crochet stitches. Post stitches aren't something I'd recommend for complete beginners but if you're confidently making double crochet stitches and understand stitch anatomy then give this project a go!

This makes for a terrific mindful crochet project - the pattern is a one-row repeat, you don't need to fret about making gauge and it's easy to adapt the size. I want to make one for me....
