Then macrame wall hangings themselves grew up and became (often complicated) works of art. So I've been delighted to see enterprising crocheters start to design wall hangings using crocheted fabric.

The granny stitch usually results in a mindful crochet experience. Granny stitch fabric is simple to create, uses basic stitches that beginners are comfortable with and in this case is an easy repeat pattern made in rows.
