Free Easy Amigurumi Crochet Patterns - crochet a bunny in 7 easy steps!

Free Easy Amigurumi Crochet Patterns - let's make it a thing!

I’ve been teaching a lot of beginners recently and this summer I taught my youngest student who is only 8 years old but is motivated and super keen to learn how to make amigurumi.

So for her and the rest of you folks out there itching to learn how to make stuffies, I’ve got two video series in production - one on easy crochet projects for absolute beginners and the other will be an "Amigurumi 101" collection on common topics like, "what eyes should I use and where do I get them? How can I best sew amigurumi pieces together?" and more.

My latest video is a walk-through of how to make a cute bunny from a small, single crochet square. This is a great project for someone who wants to practice working rows of single crochet but doesn’t want to make a scarf or a blanket.

This quick, fun project can be completed relatively quickly. Which also makes it a perfect, simple project for kids who are learning to crochet - they get the satisfaction of making something in a short period of time and best of all - it’s a cute bunny!
