Amigurumi crochet patterns for characters that fly you to the stars!

Luna the Crescent Moon
How did this crochet moon come to be? Well, for my "Regulate Your Universe" play set I wanted to design an amigurumi crescent moon that didn't look like a banana! Thus, Luna was born. You can find out more about Luna and her story here.
At about 2.5" in diameter, Luna is a perfect worry toy for little hands to squish.
To complete this pattern you will need:
- DK weight yarn in white and grey. I typically use Cascade Superwash 220 Merino
- Size F (3.75 mm) crochet hook
- 9mm black safety eyes
- Polyester (or other) stuffing
- Yarn needle
Most of this pattern is straightforward: single crochet and increases. The long strand colour changes can be a little fiddly but there is a detailed photo tutorial to ensure you don’t get lost!

Archie the Sun
Archie is the second character in my "Regulate Your Universe" play set. You can find out more about Archie and his story here.
At about 4.5" in diameter, Archie is bigger than Luna but still not too big for little hands to squish.
To complete this crochet sun pattern you will need:
- Worsted weight yarn in yellow and orange. I typically use Cascade Superwash 220 Merino
- Size F and Size 7 (3.75 and 4.5 mm) crochet hooks
- 15mm black safety eyes
- Polyester (or other) stuffing
- Yarn needle
Archie's front and back are straightforward; just single crochet increases. The corona is more involved adding in slip stitches, double and treble crochets. But there is a detailed photo tutorial to ensure you should be able to complete it without too much trouble.
