Easy breezy beautiful blanket: Day 23 of the Relax and Hook blog hop
Easy breezy beautiful blanket: Day 23 of the Relax and Hook blog hop features the Breezy Chevron Blanket. I cannot help but think of the Covergirl slogan whenever I think of this beautiful crochet blanket pattern!
As I mentioned in my Day 15 post, blankets were the most requested project from the participants in my mindful crochet program, The Relaxed Creative, so I'm very happy that we now feature 6 of them in this event.
The Breezy Chevron Blanket
Today's featured FREE pattern is for The Breezy Chevron Blanket by Cosy Rosie Crochet. As outlined in my Day 20 post, one of the hallmarks of a great mindful crochet blanket design is that it's effortlessly easy to change the size of the project. This is not only true for The Breezy Chevron Blanket but Fiona, the designer of the blanket, has a neat Crochet Blanket Size chart on her site to make re-sizing easy breezy.
This lovely blanket is made from double crochet stitches using an easy one row repeat. Gauge isn't crucial and if you use chunky yarn it makes up quickly. This is a mindful, versatile crochet project and I appreciate that Fiona apparently used my brand colours in making her sample blanket!
If you missed out on any or all of the previous five blanket patterns when they were free, don't worry, for one more week you can grab a copy of the Relax and Hook ebook. You get all 30 designs from the blog hop plus 10 bonus patterns, but this pattern bundle is only available for the month of September 2022.
Please do check out Fiona's other designs and take the time to thank her for participating in Relax and Hook. You can find her here:
